In March, 100 women completed the Women in Tech Bootcamp program organized by Glovo, SheCode Africa, and the Lagos government. Over the course of 12 weeks, they learned to build websites, mobile applications, and much more! This program also helped them gain confidence and prepare for careers in the tech industry.

During the graduation ceremony, the participants presented amazing projects, such as an app designed to reduce food waste. The winning group even received prizes for their fantastic idea!

Lamide Akinola from Glovo explained that diversity is crucial for inventing new things. She also added that this program is just the beginning of a significant shift to bring more women into tech.
