African Satellites : how they watch our planet from Space !

Africa is also sending its own satellites into the sky! Discover how these little machines help monitor the weather, protect forests, and even improve Internet access.
Did you know that several African countries have already launched their own satellites?
Nigeria, South Africa, Morocco, and Kenya are now observing Earth from space. These satellites take pictures to monitor forests, prevent floods, or spot drought areas.
For example, Morocco’s Mohammed VI-A satellite helps map farmlands and detect bushfires. In Egypt, NExSat-1 tracks clouds to improve weather forecasts. Others, like Nigeria’s satellites, help bring better Internet connections to rural areas.
Thanks to these technologies, African scientists can better protect nature and people. Africa is proving that it also has its head among the stars !
