Carnivorous animals in Kenya are in danger

@National Zoo

A long time ago, many lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas lived in the wild in Kenya. These animals are very important for nature and attract many tourists who come to see them. But today, their numbers have dropped a lot…

 Fifty years ago, there were 30,000 lions in Kenya, but now there are only about 2,000 left. This is because people are taking more and more space to live and farm. This makes it hard for these animals to survive.

The Kenyan government is working with local communities to protect these animals. They create special areas where animals can live safely and where people can enjoy nature too. It is important so that lions, cheetahs, and their friends can live in Kenya for a long time and children can see them one day !
