She helps small farmers with clever tech!
At just 29 years old, Esther Kimani from Kenya is using artificial intelligence to help farmers protect their crops from bugs and diseases. Her smart camera system sends SMS messages to warn farmers if something is wrong in the fields — so they don’t lose their harvest!
She started Farmer Lifeline Technologies to help small farmers, especially women. Her goal is to reach 1 million farmers in 5 African countries by 2030. She recently won a big prize: the Cisco Youth Leadership Award!
Esther grew up in a farming village. Now, she uses science and kindness to help others. Well done, Esther!
