Michael Djimeli, a Cameroonian engineer, has loved robots since he was a child. Now, he helps students build models for their studies through his company, Kodji Robot. He lives in Tunisia and was named the best migrant entrepreneur of 2022.
As a young boy, Michael watched his brother build electronic devices. This inspired him to learn electronics and programming. After earning his electrotechnical baccalaureate, he continued his studies in Tunisia.
Kodji Robot helps engineering students with their final projects. Michael noticed that practical skills were lacking in their courses and decided to assist them with skilled trainers.
Michael believes that Africa needs more well-trained engineers to create and produce machines locally. He also teaches children about robotics from the age of five to prepare them to become tomorrow’s engineers.
Although he has projects in the United States, Michael wants to return to Tunisia to develop his business further and help more students and children in Africa.
