At the Transform Africa Summit 2025 in Guinea, the Miss Geek Africa award celebrated young girls excelling in artificial intelligence. For months, girls from across Africa presented amazing projects to improve health, education, the environment, and the lives of children and women.
During the final in Conakry, eleven participants presented their ideas. Three finalists moved to the last round. The others received trophies, computers, and $1,000 each.
The winner, Branice Kazira from Kenya, received a trophy, for her health project. Second place went to Obedin Flore from Ghana, and third to a participant from Cameroon.
This competition shows that African girls can create projects that change the world !
