New technologies helping Moroccan farmers!

In Morocco, farmers are increasingly using digital technologies to cultivate their lands. Discover how these modern tools are helping to grow fresher and tastier fruits and vegetables!

In Meknes, at the International Agriculture Fair, a special event took place: the launch of Morocco’s digital farm networks. These networks are like clubs where farmers can use computers and phones to learn new things about agriculture. They can also share ideas to make their farms better!

One super smart farmer is named Khalid Hanafi. He invented a brilliant software to keep his apples and pears fresh. His software controls the temperature and humidity in refrigerators. It also checks a special gas called ethylene that can make fruits ripen too quickly. Thanks to his invention, Khalid was able to keep his fruits fresh longer and avoid waste.

This is important because agriculture helps a lot of people to eat. But sometimes, farmers lose their crops due to heat or mold. With new technologies, they can better protect their fruits and vegetables, which means more food for everyone!
