Niger : school start delayed due to floods

@Unicef

The school year in Niger, originally set to begin on October 2, has now been postponed to October 28 due to heavy rains.

Children in Niger will have to wait a little longer to return to school! The start of the school year has been pushed back to October 28 because of the heavy rains that caused flooding.

The floods have damaged many schools, and some classrooms are occupied by families who lost their homes. To help these families, the government decided to delay the school start date.

To assist the people affected, the government is distributing food. Over 842,000 people have been impacted by the floods. Although the situation is challenging, everyone is trying to help one another.
