Directed by Thierry Siegfried Bugaud and supported by CANAL+ Impact, the award-winning documentary-fiction African Glory tells the incredible journey of Emperor Aboubakar II, who is said to have crossed the Atlantic in 1311, nearly two centuries before Christopher Columbus, with a fleet of 2,000 ships. Through this documentary, the director and narrator, Cheick Tidiane Seck, aim to restore the place of a frequently forgotten African history.
