Thanks to South Korea’s support, a new hospital space was opened in Sfax to better care for children with a serious blood disease.
On April 29, a new hospital unit was opened at Hédi Chaker Hospital in Sfax. It’s made especially for children with thalassemia, a blood disease that needs regular care.
South Korea helped make this unit possible. KOICA and its Tunisian partners donated modern medical tools worth $10,000.
Now, kids can receive their treatments in a calm, safe, and friendly place. It’s a big relief for them and their families.
This project shows that when countries work together, they can make health care fairer and save lives.
