In a Ugandan village, a special bike helps people get to the doctor. It belongs to everyone and is used in emergencies. Thanks to it, babies, moms, and sick children can be helped on time.
Lucy Abalo is a “village doctor.” She takes care of people in her community. To do her job, she rides a strong bike called the Buffalo Bicycle, given by World Bicycle Relief. With this bike, Lucy visits sick people or takes them to the health center. In her area, roads are rough and there are no ambulances. That’s why this bike is a true everyday hero !
