In Mozambique, special birds help hunters find honey. They even understand the villages’ “dialects”!
In the Niassa forest, birds called greater honeyguides follow honey hunters and show them where hives are hidden. Each village has its own call, and the birds learn these signals to guide humans. With their help, finding honey becomes much faster and easier. This amazing friendship between people and birds shows how nature and culture can work together… for a sweet goal !
