Uganda: 93% of children vaccinated!

@MSF

Uganda is a role model in Africa for protecting children against diseases through vaccination.

Fifty years ago, only 20% of children in Uganda were vaccinated. Today, that number has risen to 93%!

Vaccines help prevent serious illnesses like measles, polio, and tuberculosis. By vaccinating nearly all children, Uganda saves many lives each year and protects families.

This success is the result of joint efforts by the government, healthcare workers, and organizations like Gavi. However, there is still work to be done to ensure 100% of children are vaccinated and healthy.

Protecting children with vaccines means giving them a healthier future. Well done, Uganda, for setting an example for others to follow!
