Imagine traveling back in time to discover how the people of Africa lived thousands of years ago! That’s exactly what the « Planet Africa » exhibition offers, running until November 27, 2024, at the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco in Rabat.
This incredible exhibition is the result of 40 years of work by African and German researchers. They explored the African continent, uncovering artifacts and traces that tell the story of our shared history. Through their discoveries, visitors can see how early humans made tools, traded resources, and created art.
The exhibition is divided into six major themes, such as « Becoming Human, » which explains humanity’s first steps, and « Know-How, » which showcases how ancient peoples mastered techniques. Additionally, a major conference will bring together experts to discuss Africa’s archaeological treasures.
After Rabat, « Planet Africa » will travel to other African countries like Nigeria and Kenya, sharing this incredible history with even more people. A fascinating adventure that inspires curiosity about our roots!
