From February 14-15, 2025, in Kigali, Rwanda, there will be a big event called the African Education Festival, organized by the International Baccalaureate (IB). This festival is a special time for people who work in schools, like teachers and principals, to share ideas on how to help children learn better.
This year’s theme is « Leading and Learning in Africa ». The participants will talk about new ways to learn and prepare students for the future, with ideas that make school more fun and useful. They will also discuss how to work better together in schools and share tips to make teaching more interesting.
This festival is an important moment to improve education in Africa and give teachers the tools they need to help students grow and learn things that are essential for their future.
