India welcomes cheetahs from Africa !

@Wildlife India

Eight cheetahs are traveling from Botswana to India! It’s a big project to protect these endangered animals and give them a place in India’s natural world once again.

This is a great adventure for eight cheetahs from Botswana! These felines will soon settle in India thanks to the « Cheetah Project. » The goal? To help protect this species, which disappeared from India over 70 years ago.

The country will spend over 13.4 million dollars to welcome them. They will live in a large natural park located in Madhya Pradesh, in the center of the country. A special protected zone is also planned between this state and Rajasthan, allowing them to run freely and safely.

This project shows how important it is to work together, even between distant countries, to help wild animals survive. Soon, cheetahs will once again run across Indian lands !
