In Harare, Zimbabwe’s capital, the police found a new helper to make roads safer: drones!
On May 27, 2025, Zimbabwean police launched drones over downtown Harare to keep an eye on drivers. These flying machines will spot cars breaking the rules, like illegal taxis. Thanks to a smart system, they can see up to 20 km around them! The goal? Less traffic, more safety. This project cost over 2 million dollars. With technology, Harare’s streets could become calmer and better organized !
