The comet C/2026 A1 (MAPS) could be visible to the naked eye in early April 2026.
This comet is part of the rare “sungrazers” group, which pass very close to the Sun. Scientists are closely watching to see if it survives this approach. If it does, it could become very bright, creating a rare sky show visible from Earth, even without binoculars. A perfect chance to look up and enjoy the stars!
