Students go on educational safaris, observe animals and learn about the work of rangers who protect rhinos from poaching. Lewa’s education program helps young people understand how to protect the environment and endangered species.
In Kenya, rhinos remain very precious animals. Organizations work every day to increase their population and protect their habitats. Community conservancies such as Sera Wildlife Conservancy also teach children how local communities can live in harmony with nature.
