Graça Machel is a Mozambican politician and activist. She became Mozambique’s first Minister of Education. Her goal? Helping children access school and education.
But Graça Machel did not stop there! In 1994, she worked for the United Nations on the impact of armed conflict on children. Her report helped the world better understand how war affects children.
She also defends women’s rights and their participation in economic and political life. In 2010, she founded the Graça Machel Trust, which focuses on education, women and children.
Her superpower? Turning courage and ideas into action to help make the world fairer!
