Today, around 273 million children and young people are out of school worldwide. In Africa, access to education remains a huge challenge. But there is progress too: since 2015, 75 million more children have enrolled in school across the continent.
And while new students are discovering their classrooms, another revolution is taking place: innovation in education! Computers, smartphones, digital platforms and new learning tools can help children learn in different ways and make knowledge more accessible.
But learning isn’t just about sitting at a desk. It’s also about reading a story, asking questions, trying, making mistakes, trying again, creating and sharing.
