Imagine being in your classroom and, with just one click, discovering African wildlife, visiting the pyramids or exploring the stars! That’s what Mozambique wants to make possible in more and more schools.
Today, 418 schools have Internet access. The government wants to increase that number to 1,000 by 2029.
The country is also providing computers and developing online lessons to help children learn in new ways. With support from UNICEF, teachers are learning how to use digital tools in their classrooms.
And there’s more! In 2025, six new schools joined a programme that gives children tablets loaded with lessons and educational games in several local languages.
The big idea? Bringing more knowledge into classrooms and helping children learn, even when they live far from big cities.
Did you know? With the Internet, your classroom can become a window to the whole world!
