Kader Jawneh is a chef passionate about African cuisine. He believes that food can unite people and introduce the diversity of Africa to the world.
At the helm of Afrik’N’Group, he opened his first restaurant in Casablanca, Morocco, in June 2021. Inspired by the desire of many to taste West African dishes like thieboudienne and poulet yassa, he also delights Moroccans with Hawaiian bowls infused with African flavors.
For Kader, opening in Casablanca is just the beginning. He aims to expand his restaurants across Africa, believing that food can bridge cultures and showcase African diversity globally. Through Instagram and TikTok, he showcases his dishes so that everyone, no matter where they are in Africa, can enjoy them.
Kader is actively involved with the Union of African Food Professions, where he helps other chefs succeed. He is convinced that African cuisine has a bright future and can positively impact many people.
