In a wonderful initiative, LEONI Tunisia has decided to assist refugees. This is the first time it has happened in Tunisia! They have signed an agreement with TAMSS, an association that helps people live better lives.
For six months, LEONI will teach approximately 20 refugees to manufacture special cables. At the end, they will receive money each month and a diploma!
Mr. Mohamed Larbi Rouis from LEONI said it was important to help others. He is proud that his company can help. He said everyone deserves a chance, even refugees.
This is great news for refugees! With this training, they may be able to find jobs in other countries like Canada or Italy.
