Good news for the people of Rupara! The Namibian Ministry of Health has promised N$1.8 million to complete the local maternity ward. The building started three years ago but is only 60% done due to delays.
The remaining work includes electricity, plumbing, and outside parts. With the new money, work can go faster.
People from the regional council and the Development Bank joined the meeting to find solutions. Everyone hopes that mothers will soon have a safe place to give birth in Rupara.
