In northern Nigeria, fewer birds and fish return because the climate is changing fast!
In Argungu, in northern Nigeria, the migratory birds that used to return every year are now mostly gone. Long ago, they even brought fish signs and rain! Now, because of climate change, it’s hotter, river water has shrunk, and food is scarcer. Crocodiles, pelicans, and “kumba” shells are rarer too. This shows that nature is changing, and people and animals must adapt.
