On April 19–20, 2025, in Paris, African fashion sent a strong message of love and hope to help women with endometriosis.
Do you like pretty clothes? On April 19–20, 2025, in Paris, a big fashion show took place for a good cause: to help women suffering from endometriosis — a painful illness affecting 1 in 10 women but still not widely known.
Lauriane SEGBEFIA, the creator of this event, wanted to show that fashion can also do good. Since 2017, her group WaxFashion has used African fashion to support social causes.
At ZE DÉFILÉ 2025, designers from Africa and the diaspora presented outfits that told stories of pain, strength, and hope. There was also a fun party, special sales, a press event, and many other surprises!
